2025 ASCRS PREVIEW PROGRAM
ASCRS SUBSPECIALTY DAY
ASCRS REFRACTIVE DAY
Back to the Future: Learning from 50 Years of
Experience in Cataract and Refractive Surgery
"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." For
50 years, ASCRS has educated cataract and refractive surgeons by embracing
new approaches, new techniques, and new technology. In 2025, Refractive
Day will highlight the experiences from a half century of corneal refractive
surgery, cataract refractive surgery, and the business of refractive surgery.
We will apply these learnings to the practices and procedures of today, and
we will reflect on how this wisdom can guide us in the development of
technology and patient care for the future.
