2022 ASCRS Annual Meeting Final Program | 65 ASOA PROGRAM GENERAL INFORMATION All ASOA practice management programming will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center unless otherwise noted. ASOA empowers ophthalmic leaders to elevate the business of ophthalmology through education, innovation, support, and collaboration. This year, ASOA offers more than 95 educational courses covering an array of topics essential to effective practice management. These topics include coding and billing, leadership and strategic management, human resources, technology, marketing, business operations, and many other strategies for successful practice management. This program lists courses by day, time, and knowledge pathway, allowing attendees to easily navigate the programming options available within each time block. Handouts Course handouts for the ASOA Annual Meeting are provided via the ASCRS ASOA Meetings app and online. Flagged Courses Select ASOA practice management courses have been identified as being especially relevant for the following categories and are marked as such: ABC Endorsed ABC ASOA courses endorsed by the Administrator Beginners Circle (ABC). These courses have been identified as the best content for attendees with 4 or fewer years of practice management experience. Advanced Admin Advanced ASOA courses recommended for those with 10+ years of experience looking to further their professional education. ASOA Essentials Essentials ASOA courses recommended for all skill levels. These courses provide a foundation in the fundamentals of ophthalmic practice management. MD Business Essentials MDBE ASOA courses recommended for physicians and provide essential business management education Mid-Level Manager MLM ASOA courses recommended for those who currently are, or are seeking to become, mid-level managers All ASOA practice management courses are designated for COE and CME credit.
