2022 ASCRS Annual Meeting Preview Program | 45 TECHNICIANS & NURSES PROGRAM OPTIONAL PROGRAMS BIOMETRY LEARNING LABS (Additional registration/fees apply) Session #1 Friday, April 22 | 8:00–11:30 a.m. This learning lab will guide the attendee through the biometry process, with the objective to elevate the attendee's knowledge of IOL calculation measurements, demonstrating how to translate and correlate the results through the hands-on use of multiple instruments. The attendees will rotate through stations, each with different equipment. These planned stations include IOLMaster, LENSTAR, and ultrasound A-scan. At each station, attendees will have the opportunity to practice the skill and perfect their technique. A question-and-answer session will provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions of the presenter. COT CERTIFICATION EXAM PREP COURSE (Additional registration/fees apply) Friday, April 22 | 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. This is an interactive course designed to prepare the attendee for the IJCAHPO COT written certification exam. This prep course will cover all areas included in the IJCAHPO core certification content. An introduction to the simulation component will be provided. Prerequisite: COA certification or proof of enrollment in an accredited COT program required. Verification from the program director will be required. COA CERTIFICATION EXAM PREP COURSE (Additional registration/fees apply) Friday, April 22 | 1:00–4:30 p.m. This course is designed to prepare the attendee for the IJCAHPO COA multiple choice certification exam.
