Phaco Lab: Review of basic and advanced phaco
practices and procedures including phaco settings and
fluidics, incisions, capsulorhexis, phacoemulsification, cortex
removal, nuclear disassembly, chopping, flipping, and anterior
vitrectomy.
Times:
*YES-STL1: 10:00–11:00 a.m.
*YES-STL2: 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
*YES-STL3: 2:00–3:00 p.m.
*YES-STL4: 3:30–4:30 p.m.
Anterior Segment Surgery Lab: Explore various
procedures including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery,
the Yamane technique, nuclear disassembly, pupil expansion,
and CTR insertion.

*YES-STL6: 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
*YES-STL7: 2:00–3:00 p.m.
*YES-STL8: 3:30–4:30 p.m.
DMEK/DSAEK Lab: DSAEK: Practice tissue insertion for
DSAEK and positioning of the donor tissue. DMEK: Practice
the DMEK technique for implantation and positioning of
the donor cornea tissue through use of an artificial anterior
chamber and pre-loaded corneal tissue.
